About Us

Chris Wilson, PT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Physical Therapist, Owner

Growing up in Buffalo New York, I was always interested in a career in the medical field. I had personal exposure to the profession of Physical Therapy following an injury I suffered while competing in Freestyle Mogul Skiing. After achieving full recovery from my injury, I realized the amazing benefit Physical Therapy can have in people’s lives.

I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, I worked in Seattle, WA providing physical therapy services for 2 years at numerous outpatient orthopedic clinics, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.

Following Seattle, I had an opportunity to live and work in Alaska, which initially brought me to a sports medicine orthopedic clinic in Fairbanks. I then migrated to the Anchorage area, managing multiple Physical Therapy clinics for a national provider as well as providing outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy. In 2004 I became an owner and staff physical therapist for a multi-center outpatient orthopedic manual therapy clinic.

During these years I have continued to advance my education and clinical skills by enrolling and completing doctorate-level Residency and Fellowship training specializing in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and became a recognized Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. I am also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Twenty years later, I am proud to still call Alaska my home.

I believe in providing unexpected value to each client that I work with as well as making my community a better place.

My wife and I enjoy raising our 2 boys in this amazing state! You may find us outside enjoying all the running, biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, skiing and numerous other outdoor recreational opportunities that Alaska provides.

Carolyn Sundstrom

After graduating college, Carolyn was offered the opportunity to work in a physical therapy clinic, she immediately knew that she had found her career. After spending her childhood dancing, she was thrilled to discover that movement could be medicine.

Carolyn went to the University of Pittsburgh and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduation, she worked for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center specializing in joint replacements, oncology, bariatric services, and labor and delivery.

Recently, Carolyn moved to Alaska and fell in love with Alaska and all it has to offer. When not working, you can find her hiking, ice skating, and cross country skiing.
